SRI’s Enhanced Concealed Weapon Permit (CCW) Training Program, endorsed by the Nevada Sheriff’s and Chief’s Association, is an exemplary model in firearms training. This program not only aligns with, but also significantly exceeds the Nevada state-mandated standards, offering a thorough and detailed exploration of concealed carry and self-defense principles within the state.

Our curriculum is divided into several key modules, each focusing on essential aspects of concealed carry:

  1. Legal Framework and Responsibilities: This module provides an extensive review of Nevada’s firearm laws, focusing on the legalities of concealed carry and the justified use of deadly force. It emphasizes the importance of understanding the legal responsibilities that accompany a CCW permit.
  2. Firearm Safety and Handling: Covering fundamental safety principles, this section ensures participants are well-versed in the proper handling, storage, and maintenance of firearms, emphasizing the critical nature of safe gun ownership.
  3. Shooting Fundamentals: Detailed instruction in shooting techniques, including stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control. This hands-on training is designed to develop proficiency and confidence in accurate firearm use.
  4. Concealed Carry Techniques: This module addresses effective methods for concealing firearms, including discussions on holster styles, clothing considerations, and drawing techniques, ensuring preparedness and discretion in various situations.
  5. Self-Defense and Tactical Training: Offering realistic training scenarios, this section prepares individuals for potential self-defense situations, focusing on decision-making under stress, situational awareness, and tactical movement.
  6. Conflict De-escalation and Avoidance: Focused on techniques to prevent and defuse confrontations, this module underscores the importance of avoiding conflict and understanding that firearm use is a last resort.
  7. Psychological and Legal Aftermath: This module provides guidance on handling the psychological effects of a self-defense incident and navigating the subsequent legal processes.

Our program is conducted by certified POST firearms instructor-trainers and experienced law enforcement professionals. This ensures that participants receive practical, real-life training from experts with extensive field experience, as opposed to civilian instructors with limited practical exposure.

In summary, the SRI Enhanced CCW Training Program offers comprehensive, high-quality training that equips participants with the necessary skills, legal knowledge, and mindset for responsible and effective concealed carry. This program is your essential resource for becoming a well-prepared, legally knowledgeable concealed weapon carrier in Nevada.

Students must provide a minimum of (1) handgun (semi-auto or revolver) as well as 50-rounds of ammo for the weapon to complete their state mandated CCW qualification.
